Meet your new CEO Clare Christie

Meet your new CEO Clare Christie

Written by Clare Christie

Hi everyone!

My name is Clare Christie and I am your newly appointed CEO of ETIA ltd.

I was previously CEO for a short time but with a full-time job in crisis support, it was difficult to balance work, life, family and have time for self-care.

With changed circumstances, I am now able to focus on the role of CEO and want to promote Effectiveness Training skills Australia wide.
I am incredibly passionate about the Gordon Model and skills and the impact they can make on ALL relationships.

I am a PET instructor and have been teaching courses for 15 years. I first heard about PET when I was pregnant, and a friend gave me her copy of the book. It changed my life! At the time, I had no idea that there was any other way to parent other than what I had experienced in my own family. It was mind-blowing. Why didn’t EVERYONE know about PET I thought.

So began my journey to become an instructor. I had to wait a few years until a trainer was available in Perth – it felt like a long wait and my first PET course was with just 2 people but they loved it and it grew from there.

I live in Perth with my 21-year old son, my partner and dog and I’m also excited to become a Teacher Effectiveness Training course facilitator to be able to support educators in the amazing, but often difficult, job they do.

Thank you for being part of the ETIA community. I look forward to connecting and meeting with more of you either in person or via our Zoom meet ups.

I’d like to help you to achieve your instructor goals so please feel free to give me a personal phone call on 0418914871 or drop me an email [email protected]

Take care during this strange and difficult time.
Cheers everyone,
Clare.
