Here are some extra examples of Problem Ownership you could use in PET.

  1. Mother wants to watch the news child keeps climbing on her lap. Mother irritated.
  2. Your partner comes home from work late and you have prepared dinner, partner doesn’t feel hungry.
  3. You want your children to go to a religious school, your partner doesn’t have any strong opinions about that.
  4. Father using hair dryer. Child keeps pulling out plug, father in a hurry.
  5. Child comes to the table wearing his dirty sports uniform.
  6. Your child is spending a lot of time in his room reading books.
  7. Child keeps postponing going to bed. Parents want to talk about a private problem.
  8. Child pleading to be taken to a movie, you have to work.
  9. Child has been quiet and withdrawn all day. Parents don’t know the reason.
  10. Child is playing the stereo so loud you are unable to think/concentrate.
  11. Your child is having problems with his friends at school.
  12. Your partner is going away for the weekend and you are also invited away with other friends.
