Invitation to Join an Introduction to “Leader Effectiveness Training” on Thursday 29th October 2026

Leader Effectiveness training is an evidence-based skills program created by Dr Thomas Gordon, clinical psychologist & founder of Gordon Training International (gordontraining.com).

During this in depth introduction session we will go through the core principles of the Leader Effectiveness Training program.

Dr. Thomas Gordon’s evidence based effectiveness training for parents/leaders/youth/teachers has celebrated it’s 60th anniversary in 2022 and continues to support people build connected relationships around the world.

The effectiveness training programs are currently offered in more than 50 countries around the world.

Session outline

6.30pm – welcome and introduction

7pm – program overview Leader Effectiveness Training

7.15pm Session overview and communication exercises relating to the first session of the full program

• What is an effective leader? What leadership roles do I hold in my life?

Group centered leadership, wisdom of the group, purpose of the program and personal goal setting

• The Behaviour Window: who owns the problem?

Behaviour versus labels and judging, a tool to clarify which communication skills we need to keep our relationships in the “no problem” zone.

8.30pm – summary of session and potential next steps / setting intention going forward

9pm – session wrap up

Currently Anne-Marije is working for a busy psychology clinic in the role of NDIS account manager.
