I have worked with children and families for over 20 years. It was towards the end of my psychology degree that I formed a real interest in behaviour modification. I was so disappointed that the foundation of my behaviour unit was primarily based on rewards and punishment. I knew there had to be a better way. With 9 of my own children, I had the motivation to find a way to have my family function effectively without coercion and control as a way of changing behaviour. I came across the ETIA while on my search and it changed my life. I am now in the process of finishing my post graduate diploma in Relationship and Family Therapy. I love how P.E.T. creates more connected relationships between parents and their children, and it is so rewarding to be part of this positive change in families.

My passion is children. Their uniqueness and total undivided trust in us just inspires me everyday. I am excited to guide you towards becoming a more conscious individual and parent so you can model this attitude of wellbeing and joy to them ensuring they become the greatest versions of themselves in the world. I have two boys aged 6 years old and a 10 month old. I love to check in with myself and model this self-awareness to them so they grow up with this tool in their toolkit. They inspire me to be the best person and mother I can each day. I teach Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T), a style of Influential and Effective Communication for parents as well as the Be Your Best (B.Y.B) program which suits individuals looking for more personal development as well as power in their interactions and relationships. It is my strong belief that communication is a very overlooked pillar in wellbeing. If we aren't honouring our own needs and being attentive and respectful to others needs, then we form relationships that don't support our greatest life and speak to our own self-worth.

Making changes doesn't have to be hard. Our programs teach us how to be real and authentic with ourselves and others. 1. Parenting Program P.E.T. It's rare to find a parent these days who isn't feeling stressed and tired from juggling life's demands. To benefit from P.E.T. you just need the desire to learn how to build warmer closer relationships with your children that will stand the test of teenagehood and beyond. P.E.T. is just the right balance of learning powerful and practical communication skills and a philosophy that will support you in creating harmony in your home. Parents graduate from their training feeling calmer and more confident and competent to handle their parenting and lifestyle challenges. 2. Be Your Best Program - a personal empowerment program for everyone: With all the skills of P.E.T. but with more emphasis on taking more control of your life and becoming way more assertive and getting more of your personal needs met! Great program for anyone who wants to be more effective and highly recommended for parents also. “I discovered ways to find peaceful resolutions to conflicts and how to break certain patterns within my life. I feel more skilled in how to maintain deep personal relationships through honest and authentic communication.” Kim Victoria, Dandenong Ranges. 3. Instructor Training: Becoming a BYB or P.E.T. instructor is one of the most rewarding things I have done. If you really want to become a Master Communicator, this is a great way to do it. I offer training in a variety of ways to allow flexibility to suit our busy lives. Please call to discuss. 4. Instructor Refreshers: A fun way for instructors to stay current and connected or to get coaching for re-entering teaching. These can be 1:1 or in a small group, either in person or via Zoom. Whatever your needs, I look forward to talking with you and exploring the possibilities these wonderful programs offer. Warm regards, Judith Please call me on M:0416036961 or [email protected]

I have been deeply rewarded seeing positive transformations in families by teaching P.E.T. effective communication skills since 1978. My two sons are now parents, and I am witness to their natural use of P.E.T. skills in all their interactions with children and people. My passion is to share these skills with others through these options: 1. Parent Effectiveness Training - for parents, grandparents, carers. 2. Be Your Best – personal empowerment skills for self, relationships, and the workplace. 3. Teacher Effectiveness Training – increases the quality of interactions between student and teacher with more teaching-learning time. 4. Instructor Training - I am a Master Trainer of P.E.T., B.Y.B., T.E.T. and Y.E.T. for ETIA Ltd. In my teaching career I taught from early childhood to tertiary level focusing on Child Development and Communication Skills. I lived in Beijing for seven years and conducted P.E.T. and B.Y.B. courses for expatriates as well as training expatriates to become P.E.T. instructors. I have written for parenting magazines in Beijing and Australia and blog for my website The Parent Within (theparentwithin.com). Whilst in Beijing I co-authored a book with P.E.T. Instructors I had trained, to help expatriate children cope with the changes in their life. In the last couple of years I have taken on the position of President of ETIA Ltd. Children, parenting, and effective communications continues to be my passion as I share these courses both online (Australia and NZ) or face to face in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast as well as coaching parents individually.

I am an experienced P.E.T. instructor, having taught P.E.T. since 1996 to over 1000 parents. Importantly, I use the P.E.T. skills while raising my children - I endeavour to 'practice what I preach'. Professionally, I worked as a counsellor, then manager, in a community organisation that specialised in counselling parents, children and young people. As manager and worker, I found the P.E.T. skills to be transferable across the workplace. I am a passionate advocate of P.E.T., and have presented posters on the topic at several international parenting conferences, as well as writing several articles on various aspects of P.E.T. I am a past member of the board of ETIA, and was the voluntary CEO in 2009/10. I am a blogger and writer, writing for my own website, and as both a paid and unpaid blogger on local and international websites.

Tracy Driscoll

Tracy Driscoll

Port Macquarie Hastings, NSW

Tracy Driscoll is a Leadership Coach and Facilitator who has been coaching leaders across APAC for over 15 years. She is also a certified PET instructor since 2010 and over the years has drawn on her PET skills in her coaching as well as running PET trainings for parents. Tracy is from Australia but was based in Beijing, China for 23 years. When her two daughters were tiny she attended PET and it helped her greatly. She decided to become an instructor to deepen her learning and effectiveness with her own children and ran courses for expatriates in Beijing. Over time she found the communication skills extremely valuable in all she did – certainly with her family and also when running companies and managing relationships with large teams, or in coaching leaders and helping them in their relationships. She returned to Australia in 2019 and lives in Bonny Hills near Port Macquarie NSW. She is happy to now bring her years of parenting and coaching experience to the local community there, to help parents develop strong, connected relationships with their children and in turn see them blossom into well-rounded, independent adults who know how to foster harmonious and rewarding relationships for themselves.
